Live@Club Dune 18th April 2009

Last Saturday Spaceship stepped into the live world for only the second time. A crowd of curious onlookers had gathered and the drone started. I played for about half an hour with an evolving set that began with a simple drone and increased with loops, vocals and guitars to a final apocalyptic rendition of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Good Times, Bad Times’.
Best of all none of the technology failed and I’m now eagerly awaiting the recording to hear what it actually sounded like. One of the best compliments was that a few people thought I’d only played for about ten minutes, after all, the last thing you want is to bore people.
I’d really like to do it again soon, so any promoters reading: get in touch!
